There have recently been major falls of ground at the adit portal and at the junction with Victory Shaft X-cut. Please avoid until remedial action is taken

It is (or was) accessible but has a gate. The entrance is at the foot of the valley below the Levant calciners, reached by in-situ ladders. A long meandering level leads to interesting but short sections of workings on some of the lodes and Victory Shaft. A sluice holds back water from the North Levant section of the mine. Total length is probably in excess of a mile.
