Steepest Incline
Just a little trivia for you, from Rhosydd Mill floor with the main adit entrance behind head to the left you will find the old tram way where the slate was takern (and no it din't go to Ffestininog as you would think) follow this track around the corner to where you will find the cable drum still intact. You are now at the top of the steepest incline in North Wales, if not anywhere. There is a plackard down in the village of Croesor. Enjoy the climb down it's a great experience, especially to look back up.

No 4 Adit
I believe the reason for this being block is to supply water power, There is a 12 inch pipe that roughly points in that direction and can be found in a very small tunnel thats exits out into the top quarry, I can't remember how to get there, but I believe its at the very top of either the old or new incline inside.
